Formulated Solutions Expands its Production Capacity and its Business
CLEARWATER, FL (June 5) - Formulated Solutions, a fast-growth consumer-products company founded in 1999, has moved into a 42,000 square-foot corporate headquarters and production facility.
"We have selected a thriving business district and have aligned ourselves among other accomplished manufacturers, which will enable our brands to grow alongside like-minded production companies with similar interests in skilled labor and service," said Eric Dann, president of Formulated Solutions. With this move, Formulated Solutions joins a high-tech business park that includes BIC Graphic USA, Korber Medipak and Modern Silicone Technologies, and others.
Formulated Solutions is involved in all aspects of product development. The company utilizes an effective balance of science and savvy, partnering with its clients at all levels, from initial concept to a final product. With their new strategic location, the company can better sustain its ongoing exponential growth within the OTC drug market. With quadrupled space from its previous location, the facility incorporates all cGMP practices and has increased production capacity tenfold. "The facility is laid out to fit our business - we no longer need to make the business fit the building. With several years of planning and conceptualizing behind us, it is fulfilling to be producing and shipping from our new state-of-the-art facility," said Dann.
The company renovated the restricted-access building to house multiple clean-room work units, including a 1,100 square-foot Research and Development lab, in addition to the micro-lab, analytical lab and quality control areas. The filling area and blending room are also ultra-purified environments.
The manufacturing capabilities housed in the FDA-registered location include a Terco aerosol bag-on-valve line, high-speed liquid filling lines and automated tube fillers. Formulated’s new facility features an improved processing and compounding center using USP-grade water and HEPA-filtered positive pressure room air.
